An outstanding show record is not the only thing that makes a dog great. It also takes heart, personality, and soundness of body and mind. No matter where this boy was, he had a fan club either by the end of the show weekend, or by the time he was unloaded off the plane. I am thankful for every moment I was blessed to share his life, for the lessons he taught me, and for the generations of Malamutes that he blessed our kennel with. Our time together was too short, and his passing has taken a large part of my heart with him, but I will always hold dear the gifts he gave me.
The above photos are just a highlight of Chance’s amazing career. He had many other show wins in his lifetime, including multiple group placements and Best in Shows and Best in Specialties. He truly was a remarkable dog!
